Patty Kleca, 65, LaPorte, died of natural causes at 8:10 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 15, 2004) at LaPorte Hospital.
A private family service will be held at Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, with Brother James Blaszak officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery, LaPorte.
There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Kleca was born July 8, 1938, in LaPorte, to Victor and Sybill (DuVall) Czech. In 1961, she married Francis Heck, who survives. In 1970, in Chicago, she married Edward Kleca Jr., who preceded her in death.
Survivors also include one daughter, Tamra Hayman, LaPorte; and one granddaughter, Leah Hayman, LaPorte.
She was also preceded in death by two sons.
Mrs. Kleca had worked at Leonard's and the LaPorte Kmart Cafeteria.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, LaPorte, where she belonged to the Altar Rosary Society.
Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church God/Parent Program or the LaPorte Small Animal Shelter.
