Phyllis Miller 79, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away Monday August 11, 2008 at her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 15, 2008 at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. There will be a time of visitation with the family on Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 4-8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 9-11 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Patton Cemetery.
Phyllis was born Sept. 12, 1928 in Holland, MI to the late Frederick W. & Ruth E. (Scharf) Steigely.
She was married on October 1, 1950 in LaPorte, IN to Jack C. Miller who survives.

She was preceded in death by a Son; Michael C. Miller; two Brothers; Fred and Robert J. Steigely, two Sisters; Patty and Barbara Ann.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Rose Rebekah Lodge #408 for 59 years, Fairview Hospital and La Porte Hospital Auxiliary for 40 years and over 10,000 hours.
