He was a retired tool crib operator at Allis Chalmers in LaPorte, IN.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in LaPorte, WWII Army Veteran- During WWII he walked the Burma Road. He also belonged to the American Legion Post 297, VFW Post 1130, Moose Lodge 980, and the Michiana Car Club.
