Ralph E. Heise , 83 years old of La Porte, IN, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009 in LaPorte Hospital .
He was born Friday, December 11, 1925 in LaPorte, Indiana , son of the late George F. Heise, Jr. and the late Leota Brockman.
Ralph graduated from La Porte High School in 1946 and attended Kentucky Wesleyan College. He retired from (Austenal) Howmet after working as a supervisor and in machine repair for 27 years. He was a US Veteran of WWII, Asiatic/Pacific/Philipines/Okinawa. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 1130, and a Past Commander. He was also, Past 3rd District Commander V.F.W.
Surviving are his wife, Marion Jean Heise, son, Dean (Sharon) Heise of Laporte, IN, son, Bruce Heise of Walkerton, IN, Daughter, Carol (Ed) Semla of Warsaw, IN, 6 grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, brother, James Heise of Bonita Springs, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, David, 2 brothers, Robert & Donald and sister, Leota.
Friends will be received 12-2 P.M. , Saturday, August 29 at Cutler Funeral Home. There will be a memorial service at a later time with full military honors.
Interment will be in Patton Cemetery at a later date.
