Randy William "Schoofy" Schoof, 47 years old of LaPorte, IN, died at 6:45 AM, Saturday, September 3, 2011, at the home of his Father.
Randy was born April 19, 1964 in La Porte, IN, Son of William and Mary Bowers Schoof.
Randy worked as a Tree Trimmer for Townsend Tree Company. Randy was outgoing, funny, and full of life. He loved his friends, family, and pets.
Randy is survived by his Wife, Sherri Madaras Schoof of LaPorte; Parents, William Schoof of LaPorte, and Mary Jane Schoof of KY; Grandmother, Pat Bowers of LaPorte; In-Laws, Robert and Nancy Madaras; Children, Nicole Schoof, Robin (Chuck) Perkins of Franklin, IN, Shyanne Miller, Crystal Burns, Robert Madaras, and Randy Madaras; 6 Grandchildren, Breanna and Devon Perkins, Garrett and Shampain Butts, and Danzick and Candice Burns; 4 Sisters, Karen (Leonard) Farmer of KY, Laura (William) Pointon of LaPorte, Kathy (Mike) Brooks of NC, and Patricia Schoof of LaPorte; 3 Sister-in-Laws, Debbie Madaras, Lorri Madaras, and Tami Miller; and many Nieces and Nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by one Daughter, Shammy Miller and his beloved Dog, Red Bud.
Randy would not want people to mourn his death, instead celebrate his life and live life to the fullest.
Friends will be received for visitation from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 and from 10-11 AM Thursday at the Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, IN.
Services celebrating Randy's life will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Cutler Funeral Home with Pastor Margaret Hunt officiating.
Interment will follow in the Patton Cemetery , LaPorte, IN.
