Richard M. Clark, 78, of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2004 at LaPorte Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Jones officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from noon until the time of services. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
Richard was born September 2, 1926, in LaPorte to William and Marie (Barker) Clark. On February 14, 1947, in LaPorte, he married Leota Madeline Wiltfong, who preceded him in death on May 25, 2004.
Suriviors include son Bruce (Felicia) Clark of LaPorte; grandchildren Greg Clark, Margaret Houtari, Amy Clark and Brandon Parks; 3 great-grandchildren; and sisters Charlotee Clark Conway and Rhea Clark Hall, both of LaPorte.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Floyd L., William M. and Robert J. Clark and a sister, June Clark Mitchell.
Richard was a bindery superintendent at Plimpton Press for 28 years. He retired from Whirlpool after working as a supervisor for 21 years. He was also a World War II Navy Veteran.
