Richard Lynn Jackson

Richard Lynn Jackson, 68, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at his home, surrounded by family.

Richard was born in La Porte IN, on March 21, 1955 to Robert Jackson and Reeda (Meyers) Jackson.

On June 21, 1975 in La Porte, IN, he married Lynn Curtis who survives. Also surviving are his 2 sons, Eric (Mary) Jackson of La Porte and Adam (Nacole) Jackson of La Porte; 6 grandchildren, Damen (Stevie), Ashton, Bailey, Brayden, Amber, and Mikaelah Jackson; 3 great-grandchildren, Zane, Declan, and Auburn Jackson; brother, Curtis Jackson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Mark Jackson; and great-granddaughter, Amara Jackson.

Richard was an Union Sheet Metal Worker for 30 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle. His greatest joys were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
