Richard L. Lundin, 83 years old of Rolling Prairie, IN, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in Hamilton Communities, New Carlisle, IN.
He was born on January 8, 1928 in Chicago, IL. Son of the late Ladislav Vlasaty and Helen (Ball) Lundin. He also was adopted by William R. Lundin.
He was married in 1953 in Harvey, IL. to Mary Russell Lundin who survives. Also surviving are 3 Sons; William R., Richard S. & Mark R. Lundin , 1 bro; Ronald Lundin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister; Helen Krane.
He served two tours in Korea during the Korean War. He was a residential building contractor and was a builder and developer of Riegel Manor in Homewood, IL. He also was General Manager for Cherry Hills Country Club in Flossmoor, IL.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Johns Kanty Catholic Church in Rolling Prairie 10:00 AM Friday Sept. 2, 2011 with Rev. Michael Heimer and burial to follow in Homewood Memorial Gardens in Homewood, IL.
