Robert Albertson, 68, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at his home.
He was born in La Porte, on August 2, 1946 to Charles and Betty (Farrar) Albertson.
Surviving are his beloved children; James (RaeAnn) Albertson of Rolling Prairie, Bridget (Brad) Biege of New Carlisle; grandchildren Zach Albertson, Danny (Charlee) Albertson, Kyle Albertson, Justin Albertson, Brad Albertson, Brittany Vogel, Jacob Vogel, Caleb Vogel, Adam Albertson; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Deb Capron, Elizabeth "Bet" Igou, Judy Duensing, Sue Galloway, Marsha & Wilbert Strefling; brothers, Rick Albertson, John (Tina) Albertson;
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Robertson Albertson Jr., Paul Albertson; brothers, Ronnie Albertson, Charlie Albertson; sister, Sandy Okrzeski
Robert retired from Aero Metals as a metal worker. He enjoyed baseball (The Chicago Cubs), hunting, enjoying leisure time with his family, watching old western shows, listening to country gospel, Stokers.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1PM on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Friendship Baptist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
