Robert "Bill" W. Bealor, 77 years old of La Porte, IN, died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
He was born December 18, 1932 in Stillwell, IN Son of the late Robert F. and Hildred Grace (Kingsboro) Bealor.
He was married on June 6, 1959 in Mill Creek, IN to Dessie Lindsey who survives.
Bill attended New Hope Baptist Church with his wife Dessie, he was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 434 of Kingsford Heights, IN. for several years. He retired in 1994 as a Machine Operator from Galbreath in Knox, IN. Bill enjoyed Woodworking, fishing and gardening.
Surviving are his children; Sharlene (Mike) Wagner of Hamlet, IN., Marlene (Jeff) Jobe of Hamlet, Robert D. (Becky) Bealor of Hamlet, grandchildren; Amanda, Jessica, Julie, Justin, Lucas, & Jared, five great grandchildren; Hannah, Hailey, Olivia, Colton & Cooper, sisters; Hilda May (Ken) Freyer, Myrte Diedrich, Betty Bealor, brothers; Richard Dean Bealor, and John (Sharon) Bealor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Don Bealor, brother-in-law; Kenneth Diedrich and sister-in-law; Carol Bealor.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 4-8 P.M. and on Thursday from 10 A.M. until the time of the service at Cutler Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Cutler Funeral Home with Pastor Monroe Jones officiating.
Interment will follow with full military honors at Salem Cemetery, LaPorte, IN.
