Robert Lee "Bobby" Bush, age 49, of Elkhart County, and formerly of La Porte passed away on December 20, 2013 at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born in La Porte, IN, on October 9, 1964 to Carl L. and Joyce A. (McFarland) Bush.
Surviving are his beloved parents of La Porte; three sisters, Christine E. Paul of La Porte, Roxanne M. (Don) Gunter of Kingsford Heights, and Diana L. (Robert) Craft of La Porte; seven nieces and nephews, Timothy (Crissa), Jessica, Jacob, Alex, Paris', Casey, and Bradley. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
He was loved and cared for by his second family at Foster Avenue Home in Elkhart for over 23 years. Over the years he enjoyed going to the day program, dancing, horseback riding, swimming and being very active. Robert always brought a smile to the face of those around him. He loved to go to church and worship the Lord by singing.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center on Monday December 23, 2013 at 1PM (CST) with Minister Roger Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Patton Cemetery in La Porte.
A time of visitation will be held from 3-5 PM (CST) on Sunday December 22, 2013 and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
