Robert Colston, 66, of Fish Lake, Indiana, passed away at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at his home.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, January 17, at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Devenport officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery at a later date.
Robert was born May 4, 1940 in Petros, Tennessee to Ray & Mae (Scrbro) Colston. On September 30, 1969, in LaPorte, he married Norma Rose who survives.
Also surviving are daughters Nora (Jim) Vitale of Collinsville, OH, Ann Marie Snyder, Linda (Larry) Brooks & Sue (Bruce) Cunningham, all of LaPorte and Bobbie (Dave) Hollendersky of Mentor, OH; brothers Bobby (Betty Jo) Colston of LaPorte, Eddie (Patty) Bunch & Lonnie (Dean) Bunch, both of Petros, TN; sisters Jeanette Bunch of Mossy Grove, TN, Betty (Loyd) Elkins of Lancing, TN; Faye Cooper & Ann (Keith) Dagley, both of Petros; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
His parents, sons Roger Wayne Colston & Robert Lee Colston, Jr., grandson Roger Wayne Colston, Jr., daughter-in-law Tina Marie Colston, brothers Granvill Boyd Bunch and Johnny Bunch and sister Dean Casy preceded him in death.
Robert had worked at New York Blower for 19 years and had most recently worked at R&R Tool Mfg. Inc.
He loved being a dad and providing for his family.
