LaPORTE - Robert J. "Bob" Conroy IV, 38, LaPorte, died at 11 a.m. Friday (April 8, 2005) at his doctor's office, 900 "I" St., LaPorte.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Cutler Funeral Home, 2900 Monroe St., LaPorte, with the Rev. Jack Cox officiating. Burial will be at Akron Cemetery, Akron, Ind. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, and from 4 p.m. until the service Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Conroy was born Jan. 16, 1967, in LaPorte, to Robert J. and Bette (Parker) Conroy III.
Survivors include his mother, Bette, LaPorte; father, Robert J. (Carol) Conroy III, Phoenix; a sister, Tamra (Brent) Rojas, Phoenix; a brother, Michael Conroy, Phoenix; two nephews; one niece; grandmother, Betty Conroy of Tucson, Ariz.; uncle and aunt, Bud and Polly Warfel, LaPorte; and several cousins.
Mr. Conroy spent eight years with the LaPorte Street Department and 14 years with the LaPorte County Co-Op. He previously worked at American Rollers and was a mechanic with various garages in LaPorte.
Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Township Volunteer Fire Department or to the charity of the donor's choice.
