Robert Boyd Justus, 85 years old of LaPorte, IN, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Millers Merry Manor in New Carlisle, IN.
He was born December 21, 1927 in Etawah, TN, son of the late Roscoe and Ellen (Boyd) Justus.
He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in LaPorte, IN., He was an Army Veteran, he taught Agriculture to Veterans, member of the Free Masons, American Legion, National Rifle Association, Shriners, Republican Party and the Eastern Star.
He was married on May 27, 1957 to Mary Jane Justus who survives. Also surviving are his sister; Elsie Dutriewicg of Ft. Wayne, IN., brothers; George (Caroline) of Loudon, TN., Paul (Nancy) Justus of Fort Wayne, IN; and sister-in-law, Mary Justus of Valparaiso.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roscoe of Valparaiso, IN.
A time of visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Military honors to follow at 7:30 PM and on Friday from 10 AM until the time of Service at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 8, 2013 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Father Thomas Kincaid officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.
