Robert Paul "Bob" Lukac, 68, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at his home.
Robert was born in North Judson, IN, on June 24, 1947 to Steve and Louise (Okeley) Lukac.
Surviving are daughters, Michelle Dunfee of La Porte, Roberta (Lee) Mumaw of La Porte; grandchildren, Ryan Dunfee, Dylan Mumaw, Bailey Mumaw; former wife and friend, Pat Bierly; and six brothers, Gerald (Tawnya) Lukac of La Porte, Stevie Lukac of Bensonville, IL, Jim Lukac of La Porte, Bill (Peggy) Lukac of La Porte, Tom (Susan) Lukac of La Porte, Raymond (Carol) Lukac of Kingsbury; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bob had served honorably in the US Army during which time he was stationed in Germany. He also had served as a volunteer firefighter with the Kingsbury Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed cars, especially NASCAR and he was an avid cubs fan.
A time of visitation will be held from 3-6 PM on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
A Celebration of Life Graveside service will be held with Full Military Honors at 1 PM on Monday at Kingsbury Cemetery with Pastor Roger Ash officiating.
