Robert W. (Jr.) Voelker

Robert W Voelker, Jr. 54, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at IU Health La Porte Hospital.

Robert was born in Silver Spring, MD, on September 16, 1963 to Robert W. Voelker, Sr. and Kathlene Krueger.

He was married to Ingrid Johanson-Voelker who survives in La Porte.  Surviving are son, Robert (Christina) W. Voelker III; grandchildren, Amalia Rian Voelker, Robert  "Liam" Voelker, IV; sisters, Kathlene Ann (Martin) Maier of FL, Diana LaPierre of Maine, Cindy (Jim) Sullivan of Maryland, Allison (Bernard)  LaPierre, Maine; loving Goddaughter, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. Voelker, Sr. and Kathlene Krueger; sisters, Gayle Voelker, Marcia Hulihan.

Robert enjoyed reading, fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM (CT) on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Internment will take place privately.

A time of visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm (CT) on Friday, June 15, 2018 and from 9 AM until the time of the service on Saturday at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
