Robert "Bob" Walter Womack

Robert "Bob" Walter Womack, 73, of La Porte, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 21, 2018.

Robert was born in McMinnville, TN, on April 25, 1945 to Orah and Dora (Masters) Womack.

On April 30, 1966 in La Porte, IN, he married Karen Kessler who survives.  Also surviving is his beloved daughter, Becky (Ryan) Loeffler of La Porte; 2 granddaughters, Danika and Paige Loeffler of La Porte; brother, Don Womack of La Porte; several nieces and nephews; and his furry best friend, Buddy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruth Donelson; and 3 brothers, Will, Perry and Sim Womack.

Robert was a welder for 30 years retiring from New York Blower.  He was a life time member of the Moose Lodge and a member of PRCU.  Robert enjoyed throwing darts and horseshoes, bowling, playing pool, golfing, and gardening.  He loved music, playing guitar, Elvis, the Cubs, and Westerns.  He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am (CT) on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Zigler officiating.  Cremation will take place following the service.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 8 pm (CT) on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 and from 10 am (CT) until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
