Rodney Kalsow, 73, of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at LaPorte Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 18, at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Brauer officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
Rodney was born March 11, 1933, in LaPorte, Indiana to the late Lester and Charlotte (Fenker) Kalsow.
Survivors include daughter Kristine Miller of LaPorte; grandsons Michael Ross Miller & Bradley Michael Miller of LaPorte; brothers Marvin (Corinne) and Donald (Dorothy) Kalsow, both of LaPorte; sister Eileen (Charles) Schoenborn of LaPorte; and several nieces and nehews.
One sister, Nancy Mokrycki, preceded him in death.
Rodney was a machine operator retiring after 16 years with the LaPorte Howmet Corporation. He also served his country in the U.S. Army.
