Roland Kuhn, 87, of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 10:04 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2005 at Fountainview Terrace Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00-7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
Roland was born October 26, 1918, in LaPorte to the late Charles & Elva (Ristow) Kuhn. On September 5, 1941, in LaPorte he married Betty Miller, who preceded him in death November 14, 1987. He then married Ethel Sibbersen, who survives.
Also surviving are sons Thomas Kuhn of LaPorte and Stephen Kuhn of Reston, VA; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, Robert, Willard and Harold Kuhn preceded him in death.
Roland had been a self-employed carpenter contractor for 60 years. He was an army veteran of WW II and he was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
