Ron LeRoy Blanchard

Ron LeRoy Blanchard, 52, of Rolling Prairie, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Center for Hospice and Palliative Care in South Bend.  He fought a valiant, decade long battle against Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Ron was born on January 13, 1967 in Fairfax, VA, to LeRoy Blanchard and Toni Sollars, who survive.

On September 25, 1999 in Michigan City, IN, he married Karen Waltz who survives.  Also surviving are their beloved children together, Kevin, Kyle, and Austin Blanchard, all of Rolling Prairie and his other children, Amanda (Jordan) Cooper of Granger, Jon (Grace) Blanchard of Granger and stepson, Cody Oxender of Madison; granddaughter, Elena Grace; sister, Deanne (Donny) Mullins of  Virginia; as well as niece and nephew, Demi and Donovan Mullins.

Ron was a service engineer for over 12 years at QSI, Inc.   His favorite past times included golfing, target shooting, and woodworking.  Ron was a Chicago Black Hawks, Star Wars, and Star Trek fan.  Most importantly, he cherished his relationship with God.  Ron had a Bachelor's Degree in Theology.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Kim Landrum officiating.  Burial will follow at Rolling Prairie Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 7 pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 10 - 11 am on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the church.
