Ronald J. Cummins,70 years old of Mishawaka, IN, died Saturday, March 28, 2009 in Our Lady Of Peace Hospital in South Bend, IN.
He was born June 27, 1938 in LaPorte County, son of the late Russell Cummins and the late Sophia (Hynek) Cummins.
He was a member of American Legion of Maryland, Moose Lodge #599 in Elkhart, IN. He retired from the United States Air Force where he served from 1957-1977.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia of Mishawaka, IN, 3 sons, Russell, Gerald, and Colin Cummins and daughter, Susan Simpson all of Edinburgh, Scotland, step-son, Kevin Basic of LaPorte, step-daughter, Denise Basic of LaPorte, several grandchildren, brother, Charles Cummins of Michigan City, and 2 sisters, Kathryn (LeRoy) Lawson of Rolling Prairie, and Carol (Albert) Grott of Union Mills.
There will be no service for Ronald Cummins. Cremation will take place. Cutler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
