Ronald Dean Ehrick

Ronald Dean Ehrick, 83, of La Porte, passed away on July 29, 2018 at Fountainview Terrace.

Ronald was born on August 21, 1934 in Wanatah, IN, to Russell W. and Edna V. (Hartwick) Ehrick.

On July 9, 1960 in La Porte, IN, he married Martha Marie Hurley who preceded him in death.  Surviving are his beloved children, Shelley Ehrick of La Porte, Rhett Ehrick of La Porte, and Allison (Dennis) Schultz of Rome, GA; grandchildren, Ryan Ehrick, Rebecca Krachinski, Brandon Lay, Grace Schultz, Kristin Schultz, Rachel Golubovich, Hunter Golubovich, Christian Golubovich, and Braydon Golubovich; brother, Richard Ehrick of La Porte; nieces and nephews, Brenda (Sam) Cotton, Brian Ehrick, and Rhonda (Mike) Smith.

He was preceded by his parents; wife, Martha Ehrick; son, Jason Paul Ehrick; and nephew, Scott Ehrick.

Ronald loved gardening and music. His passion was theatre and he played in the movie Prancer.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 PM (CDT) on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held from 10 AM (CDT) until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the La Porte Little Theatre, 218 A Street, La Porte, IN  46350.
