Ronald A. Fritz, 59 years old of LaPorte, died at 2:11 PM Sunday, November 20, 2011 at I.U. Health LaPorte Hospital.
He was born October 28, 1952 in LaPorte.
He worked for Northern Indiana Maintence (LaPorte) for 21 years. He also worked at Dwyer and R & R Plastics.
Surviving are daughters: Jennifer Whitaker of Michigan City, and Nicole Renee Fritz ( Rodger Thompson) of LaPorte; sisters: Connie Greenlaw and Theresa Keller of LaPorte; brothers: Dale Fritz of California and Larry Fritz of Kingsford Heights; aunt: Doris Blaze of LaPorte; 2 grandsons and 1 great grandson; loving Significant Other: Barb Miller of LaPorte; ex-wife and friend: Teresa Diedrich of North Judson; step sisters: Karen (Ralph) Howes of LaPorte, and Kathleen (William) Burtch-Manassas of Virginia; step brothers, David (Beth) Hoeppner of LaPorte, and Thomas (Barbara) Hoeppner, of Colorado Springs, CO; several nephews and neices; and Faithful Companion, Kilo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Fritz and Edith Downing Hoeppner.
Cremation has taken place and a time of visitation with the family will be from 5 - 6 PM, Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2900 Monroe Street, LaPorte, IN.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held at the Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Monday, November 28, at 6 PM.
Interment will be at 10AM on Tuesday, November 29 in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in LaPorte .
