Rosalie (Noel) Wright

Rosalie Wright, 89, of La Porte, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Brentwood in La Porte.

Rosalie was born in Shelburn, Indiana on September 28, 1928 to Millard and Lela (Trueblood) Noel.

On August 24, 1947, she married Jack Wright who preceded her in death in 2007.  Surviving are her beloved children, Dean A. (Linda) Wright of La Porte and Randy (Sue) Wright of Springboro, OH; 8 grandchildren, Susan Birkeland, Mike, Jason, Stephanie, Alec, Andrew, Joshua and Kristin Wright; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great, great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, James Madison of La Porte.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Wright; daughter, Joyce Madison; son, Steven D. Wright; grandsons, Scott and Daniel Wright; and 9 brothers and sisters.

Rosalie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Kingsford Heights. She loved flowers, gardening, sewing, bowling and was an avid Slicer fan. Most of all, Rosalie loved spending time with family and especially her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 pm (CST) on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Interment will take place at Kingsbury Cemetery following the service.

A time of visitation will be held from 6-8 pm (CST) on Friday, February 16, 2018  at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 11 am (CST) until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
