Rosetta Holliday, age 84, of Walkerton, passed away on September 5, 2013 at her home.
She was born in Frozen Creek, KY, on December 26, 1928 to Andy and Ethel May (Fox) Parks.
On June 30, 1951 in Knox, IN., she married Clarence Holliday who survives. Also surviving are her beloved children, daughters, Olean Holliday of Ringgold, GA, Terry (Daniel) Thompson of Kingsbury, IN, Lawona Kay Holliday of Walkerton, IN, Vanessa (Robert) Kime of Wawaka, IN, Kathryn (Mike) Emerson of Kingsford Heights, IN; son, Clarence Edward (Tracy) Holliday of Walkerton, IN; 23 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; sister, Olean White of Walkerton, IN; and brother, Chester Parks of Zoe, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Alex Ray Holliday, Sr.; sisters, Dorothy Howard, Marie Parks, Elizabeth Young, Barb Sexton, Dora Silhavy; and brothers, Richard Parks, Glen King, and Aggie Fox.
Rosetta was a member of South Center United Baptist Church and she enjoyed playing golf.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at South Center United Baptist Church, 2507 Hwy 6 and 35, Hamlet, IN. Rev. Ernie Melton and John White will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2013 from 4-8 PM at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and also from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Mill Creek, IN.
