Rosie Geneva Fain, 64, of La Porte, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at her home.
Rosie was born on November 7, 1953 in Michigan City, IN, to Robert and Hazel (Callahan) Willford.
On May 5, 1973 in New Buffalo, MI, she married Larry D. Fain who survives. Also surviving are her beloved children, Lorie (Kendall) Layne of Manchester, IN, Carma (Antonio) Ledesma of Michigan City, IN, and Jessica (Ian Handy-Spry) Fain of La Porte; 10 grandchildren, Shelby and Trenton Scrivnor, Abigail and Annabelle Layne, Alyssa Lee, Bella and Gianna Ledesma, Milla and Chloe Krueger, and Ruby Handy-Spry; brothers, Danny, Dennis, David and Jim Willford; sisters, Patricia Bryant, Robin Pletcher, Linda Canola, and Jackie Briseno; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her father, Robert Willford.
Rosie was a retired restaurant manager of Skips Fine Dining in Union Pier, MI. She enjoyed singing in church, crocheting, and especially making crafts with her grandchildren. Rosie was known for baking cakes and she made the best icing. She loved time with her family and playing the game Aggravation.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 pm (CDT) on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Joe Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held from 3 pm (CDT) until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
