R.T. Tindle

R. T. Tindle, 67, of La Porte, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at his home.

R. T. was born in Sparta, TN, on September 8, 1950 to Wyle Tindle and Mary Smith.

On September 5, 1987 in La Porte, IN, he married Marilyn A. Stanage who survives.  Also surviving are his beloved children, Lynn (Kim) Tindle of La Porte, Marty Tindle of La Porte and Gina Bernacchi of Sawyer, MI; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, 1 brother; 3 stepsons, Mike, George and Johnathon Humphrey as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters.

R. T.  worked as a carpet installer for 20 years at the Floor Store. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR racing.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 4 PM (CST) on Saturday, March 10, 2018  at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. A time of visitation will be held from 3 PM until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
