Ruth Katherine Strauch, age 96, of La Porte, passed away on Friday July 5, 2013 at Golden Living Center in La Porte.
She was born in La Porte, IN on April 27, 1917 to Fred Struss and Katherine Leeker.
Surviving are her beloved children, 2 Daughters - Loretta Rymer and Marilyn Solmos; two granddaughters; 3 grandsons; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Ruth was a dedicated homemaker and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, LaPorte.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the funeral home with Dr. Joseph Loftis officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Patton Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held prior to the service from 2-4 PM on Tuesday July 9, 2013 at Cutler Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
