Scott Alan Bailey of Michigan City, IN, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012.
He was born on April 20, 1971 in LaPorte, IN, son of Jerry and Barbara (Bannwart) Bailey.
Scott's children Skyler , Coleton , and Brooklyn survive along with their mother Lisa (Bartko) Bailey, all of LaPorte. Also surviving are Scott's parents; brothers, Rex (Shari) Bailey of Michigan City, Tom (Sharlane) Bailey of Chino Hills, CA; sisters, Vicki (Robert) Szilagyi of Rolling Prairie, Karen (Carl) Landis of Mishawaka , Uncle Leroy and Aunt Norma Rauschenbach and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nephews and a great niece.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Arthur and Lydia Bannwart and Myron and Annavieve Bailey.
Scott was a 1989 Graduate of Rogers High School in Michigan City where he was runner up for state in wrestling and all conference in football and wrestling. He went on to earn a Bachelors of Science and Business from I.U. He enjoyed spending time with his children and sports.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place at 6:00 PM on Monday, July 30, 2012 at the Springville Free Methodist Church. A time of visitation with the family will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of the service at the Church.
