He leaves behind his fiance and soul mate, Michelle Mast; beloved daughter, Brittany (Jacob) Dopieralski; adored grandson, Noah Dopieralski-Morgan and another grandson on the way. Also surviving are his sister, Dot (Dan) Fara; brother, Mark (Karen) Martin; step-brothers, Mike (Debra) Fara, Tom A. (Teresa) Fara; aunts, Linda (Terry) Brainerd, and Connie Francis, uncle, Jay Francis; many close and special cousins, nieces, nephews, Michelle's family and numerous loved friends.
Scott was preceded in death by brothers, Dusty and Tim Goens; step-father, Thomas Fara; grandparents, Aster and Anita (Hurt) Francis; Aunt Sue and Uncle King Bareathin, Uncle Wesley Francis, Aunt Carol Hollifield, Aunt Judy Francis; and cousin, Greg Francis; and special friend, Skyler Kleine.
Scott and Michelle enjoyed many outdoor activities including fishing, horticulture, nature walks, and all animals, bird watching, and relaxing by their koi pond. They also shared their love for music, it was mostly loud heavy rock and metal. About 10 years ago his mother, Nancy inspired Scott to broaden his music genre when she started taking banjo lessons. It really sparked his interest in bluegrass and sounds from his roots. Nancy bought him his own banjo and he taught himself to play and loved it. He called it his "Therapy" to deal. He also loved all kinds of woodworking and tinkering in his workshop. His greatest joys were Brittany and Noah. He was so proud of the beautiful woman and mother that Brittany became. Noah was the perfect playmate for the little boy in Scott. They built birdhouses, played with their Air Hog RC helicopter and Noah always amused his Papaw with his crazy comments, questions, and made up songs while he played guitar. They were Super Hero's together and also adventurers as they went on walks to explore the woods. Scott enjoyed the simple things in life especially spending time with family and friends, sitting outside and visiting. Although Scott lost his battle with cancer, he won in life, he was loved and cherished by many. His huge, kind heart was full and touched lots of lives. He was a very special man who kept his sense of humor and beautiful spirit until the very end. He will be forever missed and always loved.
