Sheila Ann Conklin

Sheila Ann Conklin, 56, of New Buffalo, passed away on November 23, 2018.

Sheila was born in Sacramento, CA, on August 23, 1962 to Paul and Frances (Watts) Bowman.

On June 28 in 1980, she married Myron (Butch) who survives.  Also surviving are her beloved children, Tabitha and Peter Ludwig of La Porte, IN, Christopher and Jamie Conklin of Three Oaks MI, MG Conklin and Lisa Huff also of Three Oaks, MI, and Michelle Conklin and Christopher Brown of Wausau, WI.  She was also a wonderful grandmother to Coral, Connor, Paul, Tori and David. She is also survived by her sister, Cindy (Kerry) Foley of South Bend, IN; brothers, Jim Bowman of St. Joseph, MI, and Jeff Bowman of Grand Rapids, MI; and her sister-in-law, Christine Bowman of Pittsboro, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Frances (Peggy) Bowman and her brother, David Bowman.

Sheila was a homemaker for 37 years.  She enjoyed reading, working on the house with Butch, spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing on her iPad, road trips with her family and zoos.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

There will be a private family celebration of life at a later date.  The family thanks everyone for the well wishes, condolences and understanding the need to celebrate her life with a private moment.  Interment will take place at a later time.
