Sherman was the son of the late Edward & Nancy (Baker) Harmon.
He was married on June 17, 1989 to Doreen Wilber who survives.
Sherman worked in the maintenance Department for the Gene Glick Corporation at Cambridge Square Apartments. He was a past Chief and member of the Scipio Township Volunteer Fire Department with 10 years of service. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam.
