Sim Parker Womack, of Rolling Prarie, IN was welcomed home into the loving arms of his heavenly father on Thursday, November 22, 2012. He was 69 years old. He was born on September 5, 1943 the son of the late Orah & Dora (Masters) Womack in McMinnville, TN. On Janruary 31, 1964 he married Gloria J. Watt; she survives.
He is also survived by, two children, Toni (Thomas) Peckham of LaPorte, IN and Glenn (Tammie) Womack of Culver, IN; seven grandchildren & three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Donnie (Reann) Womack and Robert (Karen) Womack both of La Porte, IN; two sister-in-laws, Shirley Yoquelet of Clarksville, TN and Doris (Ron) Hickman of Bridgeman, MI; and many nieces and nephews
Sim was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Will Womack, Ruth Donaldson, and Perry Womack.
He retired from Kingsley Furniture Company of La Porte after 44 years of service and attended Agape Christian Church in La Porte.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday November 26, 2012 at 11 AM at Cutler Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Burial will follow at a later date at Patten Cemetery in La Porte.
Family & Friends will be received on Sunday November 25, 2012 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be directed to La Porte VNA Hospice.
