Stephanie Ann Clendenen

Stephanie Ann Clendenen, 51 Years, of Mill Creek, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at her home.

Stephanie was born in La Porte, IN, on December 28, 1966 to Michael Perry and Dawn S. (Wright) Clendenen.

Surviving are her brother, Michael P. Clendenen of Pulaski, TN; aunts, Carole (Larry) Sims of La Porte, Irene Lauver of Winterhaven, FL, and April Harradon; uncle, Jess (Marcella) Miller; several cousins; stepfather, Ron Heider and his family; and all of her loving critters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Michael Perry Clendenen and Dawn S. (Wright) Heider; her grandparents, and her grandfather, Roland Perry Clendenen who she was especially close to and who passed away in 2000.

Stephanie was a 1985 graduate of La Porte High School.  She received her Bachelors of Science Degree from Purdue University in 1992. Stephanie worked as the accounting manager at the Swanson Center.  She was a hard worker and had an entrepreneur spirit.  Stephanie was the centerpiece that held the family together.  She was passionate about animals, if she could, she would have taken every animal possible home with her. She enjoyed bowling, billiards, and spending time with family and friends.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 5 PM (CST) on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

A time of visitation will be held Saturday from 3 PM (CST) until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in the name of Stephanie to La Porte County Small Animal Shelter, 2855 West State Road 2, La Porte, IN  46350.
