Susan E. Stone Vowell, age 49, of La Porte, IN passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at IU Health La Porte Hospital. She was born on May 28, 1967 in La Porte, IN, to Jon and Karen A. (Carney) Stone.
Susan is survived by her son, Michael Vowell of La Porte, IN; her mother, Karen Stone of La Porte, IN; and a brother, Jon A. Stone Jr. of Dayton, OH. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
Susan graduated from La Porte High School was hard worker all her life. She loved her job and was a store manager for Bed Bath & Beyond in Mishawaka, IN and Valparasio, IN.
A cremation committal will take place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. In keeping with Susan's wishes, no public visitation or services are planned. A private committal will take place at a later date.
