Teresa "Teri-little d" Detrick, age 60, of La Porte, passed away on August 25, 2013 at her home.
She was born in Terre Haute, IN on August 24, 1953 to Robert W. and Virginia (Feuquay) Detrick.
Surviving are her beloved brother, Robert (Jamia) Detrick of Johnson City, TN; Nieces - Brooke (Russ) Louche of Terre Haute, IN., Robin (Mike) Yorg of Holland, PA., Bobbie Calloway of Nashville, TN; nephew, Jay Detrick of Bristol, TN; and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, David J. Detrick.
Teri was a graduate of Garfield High School in Terre Haute, IN. She also attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute. Teri retired from the US Postal Service after 33 years of service. She was a member of the Bowling 600 Club, and the National Association of Letter Carriers #200, National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association, and the American Legion Auxiliary #83. She enjoyed playing softball, bowling, camping, playing pool and going to the beach.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 6 PM with Rev. Roger Ash officiating. Cremation has taken place and a time of visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday from 5 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
