Terrance "Kenny" Wilson Banks, 58, of Michigan City, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at South Lake Methodist in Merrillville, IN.
Terrance was born in Gary, IN, on June 2, 1958 to Wilson Banks and Emmaline Burr.
Surviving are his mother and step-father, Emmaline Burr and John Tyler of Michigan City; sister, Cynthia Hines of Milwaukee, WI; brothers, Courtney Tyler of Michigan City, Andre Johnson of Gary; niece, Brittnay Taylor; and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Lashawn Taylor; brothers, Robert Atkins, and Michael Burr.
Terrance enjoyed sports and loved to build model cars. He worked as a Sanitation Engineer in Gary, IN.
A cremation committal has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
The family will have a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 1 PM on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 616 Main Street, Michigan City, IN. A Repass will follow the service at the church. The Rev. James Wilkins will officiate.
