Terry L. Long, 59 years old of Fish Lake, IN, died Friday, March 5, 2010 in Indianapolis.
He was born in LaPorte on June 4, 1950, Son of Raymond and Margaret Wedel Long. On January 11, 1991 in LaPorte he married Margaret Harris.
He was a member of Union Mills American Legion. He was a Army Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed Nascar and the outdoors. He worked as a Self-employed Roofer.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret of Fish Lake; 2 sons, Robert R. Long of Poinciana, Florida, and Marshall T. (Sarah Greene) Long of Fish Lake; 2 step sons, Joedy D. (Christina) Lantz of Koontz Lake, and Todd A. Aaron of Knox; 4 grandchildren, Kiya Long, Mckenzie Long, Marc Lantz, and Shauna Lantz; 1 sister, Kathleen Grage of LaPorte; 6 brothers, Harold Long of Attica, IN, John (Audrey) Long of Fish Lake, James (Wilma) Long of Fish Lake, Frank (Kathy) Long of Westville, Larry (LuAnne) Long of Walkerton, and Donald (Lucille Salzer) Long of Mill Creek.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, JoAnn Buckmaster; 1 brother-in-law and 2 sister-in-laws.
Friends will be received at the Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, IN on Wednesday, March 10, from 2-6 PM. A service will follow at 6 PM with Rev. Ronald Devenport officiating. Full Military Honors will be conducted at the Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service.
