Thelma Krueger, 72, of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 10:59 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2005 at LaPorte Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Smith officiating. A private family burial will be held at Pine Lake Cemetery.
Thelma was born January 8, 1933, in LaPorte to the late Frederick & Neva (Schweitzer) Steinfeldt. In 1967, she married Robert E. Krueger, who preceded her in death in 1999.
Surviving are sons Timothy (Kim) Krueger of LaPorte and Thomas (Kathy) Krueger of Three Oaks, MI; sister Pauline Powell of LaPorte; brother Frederick Dale Steinfeldt of LaPorte; grandchildren Jenessa Krueger and Jackie and Robert Ratz, Jr.; and great-grandchildren Devin Wildfang, Justic and Kalli Ratz.
Thelma had worked at Fountainview Terrace Nursing & Rehabilitation Center as a CNA for 11 years. She was also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
Memorials may be made to the LaPorte Small Animal Shelter or to the charity of the donor's choice.
