Thomas E. Perkins, Sr. 48, of La Porte, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015 at IU Health La Porte Hospital.
Thomas was born in Glasgow, KY, on May 28, 1967 to Roy Lee and Margaret (Jackson) Perkins.
On February 23, 1985 he married Karol (Jancik) Perkins who survives in La Porte. Also surviving are his beloved children, T.J. Perkins of Chicago, Jody Perkins of La Porte, Katie Perkins of La Porte, Patrick Perkins of La Porte; grandchildren, Haylee, Abel, and Maxdon; father, Roy Lee Perkins; sister, Ellen Adwell; brothers, Jackie (Sherri) Perkins, Jeff Perkins, Jonathan (Angela) Perkins all of Glasgow, KY; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Perkins.
Thomas loved his family especially his children and grandchildren.
A cremation committal has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A private family memorial service will be held at a later time.
