Thomas Shuta, 55, of LaPorte, Indiana and formerly of Ocala, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2008 in LaPorte, IN.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, September 7, 2008 at the Cutler Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 P.M. at the funeral home. A private Burial Service will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery on Monday, September 8, 2008.
Thomas was born March 27, 1953 in LaPorte, IN to William J. & Evelyn M. (Rheinholtz) Shuta.
Thomas was a loving father to his two sons, Aaron Shuta of Lafayette, IN., Michael Shuta of Ocala, FL; and his Daughter: Allison Shuta of Ocala, FL. Surviving are his Mother: Evelyn Shuta and 5 Sisters: Darlene (John) Arndt of Wanatah, IN., Lorellie (Allen) Grott of Sun City, AZ., Arlene Phillips of LaPorte, IN., Melody (George) Austin of Westville, IN., and Carol J. Shuta of LaPorte, IN.
He was preceded in death by His Father: William J. Shuta and 3 Brothers: William J. Shuta, Jr., David and Michael Shuta.
Tom will be missed by his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and great Nieces and Nephews. He attended First Baptist Church and was a member of the PRCU Club. He loved the water, horses, he collected NASCAR memorabilia and excelled in a lifelong career in sales.
