Timothy Krueger, 47, of La Porte, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 at IU Health La Porte Hospital.
Timothy was born in La Porte, IN, on July 4, 1968 to Robert E. and Thelma (Steinfeldt) Krueger.
Surviving are his beloved daughter, Jenessa (Troy Decker) Krueger of Three Oaks, MI; granddaughter, Kyrie Decker; soon to be grandson, Leon Decker; brother, Tom Krueger of Baroda, MI; mother of Jenessa, Kim Krueger of La Porte; niece, Jackie Ratz; nephew, Robert Ratz, Jr.; 5 great nieces and nephews, 2 aunts, 1 uncle, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Timothy worked as a Truck Driver. He enjoyed being a Ham Radio Operator with the La Porte County Amateur Radio Club (Radio Call Sign K9TMK), shooting with the Marks Man Shooting Club, and being a storm chaser. He served faithfully in many areas including, US Army National Guard, LaPorte County Police Reserves, and a Springfield Township Volunteer Firefighter/EMT. He was a member of the NRA, enjoyed trains, building things, and gardening.
A cremation committal has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service with full military honors will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
A time of visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery at a later time following cremation.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
