Van Alan Risley, 57, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
Van was born on September 29, 1967, in La Porte, Indiana, to Charles N. Risley and Kathleen E. (Rickenbaugh) Meaney.
Surviving are his children, Syan Risley and Pearce Risley, both of La Porte; 3 bonus children; 8 grandchildren; life partner, Cathy Beal; mother, Kathy (Patrick) Meaney; and brother, Ray Risley.
Van was preceded in death by his father.
Van was the owner of P.M. Fabricating, a steel fabricating business. He enjoyed working on big puzzles, traveling, and boating.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
