Vito Romano, 67, of Kingsbury, Indiana, died at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at his home.
A time of visitation with the family will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Cutler Funeral Home on Sunday, August 20. There will be no service. Cremation has taken place.
Vito was born December 28, 1938, in Chicago, IL to the late Vito Frank & Marion (Villa) Romano.
Survivors include sons Vito M. (Natalie) Romano of Kingman, AZ, Frank (Cathline) Romano of Portland, OR, Jimmy (Rebecca) Romano of Chicago, Nick (Lynn) Romano of Grand Rapids, MN, Ron Romano of Kingsbury, IN and Joe Romano of Stillwell, IN; daughters Rosemary (Gerard) Bonilla of Fish Lake, IN and Kelly Ann (Mark) Hopp of Chicago; 28 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers Hank & Kenny Romano of Chicago and Ron Romano of Alsip, IL; sisters Betty Massaro and Marion Romano, both of Oaklawn, IL; and step-children Denean (John) O'Banion, Ignatius (Melody) Calderone and Michael Calderone.
Two brothers, Frank and Tom Romano preceded him in death.
Vito had retired as maintenance superintendent of Melrose Pyrotechnics, Kingsbury in Kingsbury. He was a member of the Son's of the American Legion.
