Wade Harris, 46, of Rolling Prairie, IN, died at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2004 at LaPorte Hospital as a result of a mo-ped accident.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9, at Cutler Funeral Home with Dr. Howard Abbott officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery at a later date.
Wade was born on March 24, 1958 in LaPorte, IN to Dean & Jane (Curtis) Harris.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Jane & Keith Siglinger, New Carlisle, IN; sons Jayson Harris, LaPorte and Nicholas Harris, Palos Heights, IL; daughter, Morgan Harris, Palos Heights, IL; granddaughter, Tayha Harris, LaPorte; grandmother, Marion Curtis, LaPorte; brothers, Blaine Harris and Chip Whorwell, both of LaPorte; half-brother Marty Harris, LaPorte; and half-sister, Jacquelyn Hayes, Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Robert and Julie Harris and Warren Curtis.
Wade worked as a machinist at Master Roll in Kingsbury, IN. He was an avid NASSCAR Fan and he loved to fish.
