William Schoff, 71, of Michigan City, Indiana, died at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 in him home.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 2, 2006 at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Zigler officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery in Three Oaks, Michigan at a later date.
William was born August 7, 1934, in LaPorte, Indiana to Emery F. and Mary (Lovekin) Schoff.
Survivors include daughters Sally Marie Kinney of Oregon, Mary Myers of Florida and Judy McKinley of Florida; son Steven Lee Schoff of Oregon; stepdaughter Rose Krueger of Indiana; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Rosemary Gribble and Thelma McGinnis, both of Indiana; brother Cecil Schoff of Oklahoma; and two ex-wives.
His parents, stepdaughter Jacqueline Peterson, stepson John Gosnell, six brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
William had worked as a truck driver, millwright and a security guard. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Indiana Gunsmiths Association.
