Born in Chicago, Illinois, June, 1932. Attended Parker High School, in Chicago. Served in the 1st Infantry Division of the U.S. Army (“Big Red One”) during the Korean War. Graduated from Roosevelt University with a B.A. in Business Administration. Worked much of his career in the construction equipment field, doing corporate sales and finance, receiving an award for the largest deal Caterpillar ever closed, for a literal gold mine in Indonesia. Predeceased by daughter, Jennifer, and son-in-law, Anthony, who were lost through a traffic accident nearly two decades prior. Survived by daughter, Kathleen, and sons, Daniel and Timothy, as well as granddaughter, Nelya. Died in Michigan City, Indiana, December, 2016, due to complications arising from lung cancer. Buried at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana, alongside his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Anthony.
