Wilma J. Seymour, 66, of Hamlet, Indiana, died at 3:09 a.m. on Friday, November 5, 2004 at the LaPorte Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 9, at the Cutler Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Monday from 1:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in the Patton Cemetery.
Wilma was born on February 3, 1938 in LaPorte, Indiana to William A. & Lauretta H. (Nelson) Alexander. On August 5, 1957 at the Tracy Methodist Church in Hamlet, she married Jerry Seymour, who survives.
Survivors also include daughters Kim J. (Jr. ?Clayton?) Reed of Hamlet, and Pati S. (Michael) Schwarz of LaPorte; sons Jerry J. (Rhonda) Seymour, Jr. of Walkerton, IN and William H. (Liza) Seymour of Hamlet; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchidlren; sisters Gail (Shaun) Law of Indianapolis, Thea (Mike) Conley of Charlotte, NC and Emily Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a great-grandchild and sisters Marion Cuevas and Laura Neal.
Wilma had worked at American Home Foods and had retired from Quality Farm & Fleet in 2001. She was a member of the Hamlet Conservation Club for 5 years and the Menominee Muzzle Loaders for 24 years. She graduated in 1957 from the Union Township High School.
