Winston E. Wyssbrod, age 62, of Michigan City, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11:45 AM at St. Anthony's Hospital in Michigan City, IN.
Winston was born on August 31, 1953 in Marvell, Arkansas to Evelyn (Dulaney) and William Wallace Wyssbrod.
He is survived by his companion, Patricia Anderson; children, Wm. Eric (Vanessa) Wyssbrod of La Porte, IN, and Jennifer Marie Wyssbrod of Michigan City, IN; step-children, Phillip (Kathy) Anderson, and Kim (Roger) Sharkey of Michigan City; three grandchildren, Alex Sharkey, Justin Anderson, and Sandra McKeehan; and five siblings, Bill (Gloria Jean) Wyssbrod Jr., David (Frances) Wyssbrod, Wimp (Dovie) Wyssbrod, Janice Bottorff, and Wade Wyssbrod. He was preceded by his parents.
Winston served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1971-1974 and was a Certified Welder. He was a talented mechanic, had skill on the grill, and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
A graveside service in Winston's honor will be held at Schauffhauser Cemetery in Marvell, AR. A memorial gathering will be held locally at a later date.
