Wyatt was born October 3, 2000 in LaPorte, Indiana to Lawrence (Larry) R. and Cathleen K. Wilke of Hamlet, Indiana.
Wyatt is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Lawrence Wilke, 28, LaPorte, Indiana; Sonya Wilke, 21, Mishawaka, Indiana; John Wilke, 18, Hamlet, Indiana; and Addison Wilke, 17, of Hamlet, Indiana. Grandparents, Thomas and Delores Gautschi of Wabash, Indiana, and Sharon Wyatt of Knox, Indiana. Other close family members include: Lola Jane Wilke (Wyatt’s Dog), Krista Parks, Rick and Brandi Scarberry, Sherry (Sissy) and Steve Hann, Diane Barton, Cindy Gautschi, Jerry (Merg) Wilke, and Jack and Jennifer Dillard.
Wyatt enjoyed going to school at Kingsford Heights and being with all of his classmates. He loved guitar hero, video games, jumping on the trampoline, swimming, horseback riding and camping with his family. Four-wheeling, go-carting and riding the golf cart around the yard were also some of Wyatt’s favorite things to do on the weekends. He loved doing burnouts with his dad in the 69 chevelle and gardening with his mother. Wyatt grew a sunflower that he wanted to enter into this years LaPorte Sunflower Festival. Although Wyatt was taken the morning before the festival, his family entered his sunflower on his behalf. He would’ve been so excited to know that his sunflower did win first place for the largest seed head.
Even though Wyatt was only with us for seven years, he brought more love to everyone he knew than most people will ever experience in a lifetime. Wyatt was dearly loved and will be missed and never forgotten by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
